Mountain K. K. (4101 m) Highest mountain in South-East Asia

Mountain Kinabalu is the highest Mountain in South East Asia (in Seba, Malaysia). It is 4101 meters high. The name means "holy mountain". beautiful photos

Anything special seen on their clothing?
Yes! the cross of the girls. Because the natives are Christians.
Before some natives in Seba were head hunters, they hunted enemies' heads to show their courage and hang it on their roof top to show their pride. Now by the influence of Christianity and government encouragement, it has been changed to tourist site.

We are in the Kinabalu park where we can see different spieces of flowers. The largest flower in the world is also found in the mountain. It is very big, even a big fat guy sit on it cannot cover all of it. I forget the actual size; but from the photo of the model; it is about 2 feet in diameter. Since it dies very quick, it is extremely hard to see it live.

9.8.2001----- Just back from Kota Kinabalu (The city of the Holy Mountain), Sabah (where I have my honeymoon) with all my siblings and their kids. This time we have stayed in the new Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort, Kota Kinabalu (actually in Tuaran), but we have also visited and enjoyed the facility in our honeymoon hotel - Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort, Kota Kinabalu. I have a lot of new experience in this trip: first diving down to 11m, up in the sky above 200 feets, second time visit on honeymoon hotel, first all siblings' holiday trips and seeing two "Jungleman"s in life close to 5 feets. Photos and details on this trip will be available later.

Malaysia is a Muslim country and many are really pious. I hope that they can know Jesus their Savior one day!
